I've really hated being an adult in the last couple of days. I've had to make a lot of phone calls I didn't think I could handle...like one of them required an uncomfortable explaination of bad services, and I was biting my tounge trying to be civil. Then there was the registration of my classes. I called to speak to the lady with whom I usaually register and told she was out of the office and they transferred me to a guy named Ron. I got his voicemail. I was thinking who was Ron and what was I supposed to say to him. Meanwhile the voicemail beeped and I couldn't think of anything to say so I hung up. Then I rethought the situation, called back, left a professional sounding message. He called me back and said the lady I normally I was talking to was working from home and email her my inquiry about registration as a non degree student. The bad news: The class I want to take could be canceled because there are only 6 students signed up so far. But he said there's two weeks left of registration left so people could still sign up.
I really don't know what I'd do if I can't take this class (everything else is full). I'd probably become a hermit stashing books and gaining a tremendous amount of weight going through boxes of cheez-its like no tomorrow...no just kidding. I'd probably find volunteer work til spring semester or concentrate on my writing and, well the reading part is true...there are SO many books I want to read, but I want to be out DOING something, I can't work, but I can give my time....but anyways Im praying that class doesn't get canceled....sorry for my rant. Growing up is hard to do. Can I be 17 again? *Looks for TARDIS*
Sorry, Jenny, but there's no going back. You can do it!
